Olubankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, a Nigerian musician and music executive, has revealed how Wizkid began his remarkable career.

Wizkid was a member of Banky W’s record label when he first started his career, but he had to quit because, as he stated in an earlier interview, he felt he had reached a point where he needed to go forward.

Speaking about how Wizkid started his career, Banky W stated that Wizkid was having difficulties paying for studio time during the start of his career.
