A touching video depicting the moment Gbolahan Ajibola was released from his kidnappers and allowed to walk back to his family has left social media users in tears.

In response to the video, Instagram users bemoaned the fact that kidnapping has become so common in Nigeria, and speculated that the poor boy may have been traumatized and in pain.

It was tears of joy for the boy and his family after seeing each other again after so many days and his parents, siblings, relatives and friends burst out in praises as they shouted in excitement over the boy’s freedom.
