A petrol station has been chastised online for allegedly deceiving customers by selling water instead of fuel.

Adeola, a journalist, posted a video clip of customers lamenting at the filling station after being forced to buy water when they thought it was premium Motor Spirit, also known as fuel.

Customers and onlookers went from one pump to the next, pumping water out of the nozzle to demonstrate that there was no fuel within.

They tried getting the name of the petrol station to further expose them.

In the clip, one truck appeared to have developed fault after water had been pumped into it.
